  • Use a water clarification solution.

  • Clean your filters appropriately before using them.

How Often Should You Clean Your Pool Filters?

  • Backwash sand filters once every two weeks.
  • Clean cartridge filters after every three to four weeks
  • Backwash diatomaceous earth (DE) once a month.
